Pet friendly garden studio - 1 bedroom — Brooklynian

Pet friendly garden studio - 1 bedroom

I have been working as a veterinarian in Boerum Hill for over 2 months now...and I really want to move here!!! I am (and have been) looking for a cute, safe apartment (large studio - 1 bedroom) that accepts dogs over 25 lbs. I am hoping for some kind of outdor space (ideally a garden) and/or a doggie park nearby. Troy is a friendly, quiet dog... ..he is about 70 lbs.. and I have 2 kitties. I can not pay more than $1500 (maybe 1600??) :o
If you know of any petfriendly buildings that are affordable, please let me know.....

Sorry, but I've lived in (and loved) this neighborhood for 2 years and have been looking for pet-friendly garden apt for the past 6 months. I live in a 1BR garden apt. now that just got bumped up to $2350 (hence, my move). To find anything under $2K that will accept dogs in this neighborhood is pretty much a pipe dream. So as much as I hate to leave, I will be in 2 short weeks; unfortunately, this neighborhood has become too bougie too fast.

Maybe you'll get lucky (maaaybe Red Hook, but still...), but just know that garden apts. (again, that will accept dogs) in this area are few and far between.

Actually, we are leaving our apt. soon and the landlord has been very good about our 3 cats. He has a dog so I think he would be fine. Our rent is $1500 and he plans to do some improvements and put it up a bit, but it is a floor-through with garden access. If you are still looking post here again and maybe we can get in touch. Our landlord is a nice guy. He would probably love to have a vet downstairs cos his dog is always getting into something...
