(south) brooklyn Photo Project - Sit for a portrait

I'm working on a photographic series about the neighborhoods in which I grew up - Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, Gravesend, Dyker Heights. I want to tell the story of the Brooklyn I know, the one that isn't part of the Brooklyn "brand" and doesn't get written up in the NYT Style section every day.

I'm looking to meet and photograph people living in those neighborhoods - all ages, all kinds of people - and learn your stories about living in the neighborhood. I generally photograph this project on the weekends. I photograph using film and a large camera, so we will probably spend about an hour on your portrait.
