An entity know as Dorsett is reportedly in the process of seeking CB8's support for a full liquor Lic.

Long term residents may remember that before 677 Washington Avenue was a hair salon, it was a discount store.

It is located between St. Marks and Prospect, near the Way Station.

The applicant is still interested, but didn't make a presentation at tonight's meeting.  I introduced myself.

She might be ready to present next month. 

BTW, she is the same person who ran the Idalias hair salon. She has moved it about a block away, and is presently thinking of making 677 Washington more of an event space than a bar....

mishaps

Yes - I stopped into Idalia's last week for some haircare products and got a flier for Dorsett in my bag. It was all about the event space offerings. Their new location is on Prospect between Grand and Washington, and it seems to be busy.
