Are you dealing with the skin condition known as vitiligo? Do you know
someone? Vitfriends is a support group formed in 2009 to support and
encourage individuals affected by vitiligo. Vitiligo is the condition
where skin pigment is lost. Visible as white spots or patches on the
body. This condition can affect any ethnicity. While vitiligo is not
life threatening it is quality of life threatening.
Some of the goals of Vitfriends are to: bring people together to
decrease isolation, reduce impact of stress, provide a sounding board
and bring awareness to the condition. Vitfriends is starting a NYC
chapter and the first support meeting will be held on 10/25, Saturday at the Clinton Hill branch of the public library, from 2-4PM. You must RSVP to attend because space is limited. You can call 844-374-3639 option 2. You can also RSVP by email - [email protected] or [email protected].  If you need directions to the library visit their website http://www.bklynlibrary.org/locations/clinton-hill
We have reached our limit. No more RSVPs will be accepted. There will be another meeting next month. Details to follow.
