Celebrate 10 Years of Capoeira in Brooklyn
On November 8th, join Capoeira Brooklyn for a lively morning of Capoeira and Maculelê performances at our 2014 Batizado and Troca de Corda! Capoeira is a Brazilian martial art incorporating dance, music, language and culture. The event is free and open to the public (kids included!) and will include Capoeira and Maculelê performances, as well as a graduation ceremony.
It will take place from 11am-2pm at Shape Shifter Lab (18 Whitwell Place) in Gowanus.
