Brooklynian's Fall 2014 Membership Drive

Greetings posters and lurkers,
I am pleased to announce that the Fall 2014 Membership Drive is now in effect. Additional posters and lurkers are being sought.

However, unlike the drives held by NPR and public television, this drive does not involve you spending any money in exchange for a totebag or coffee mug. It also does not involve all of your favorite programming being interupted for several days.

Instead it merely involves me encouraging you to distribute printed Brooklynian business cards at the neighborhood businesses and meetings you frequent, as well as a photo of said business card.

The photo of the business card appears below, and can be saved to your computer and then shared on your Facebook status or on other websites until you are told to "cut it out" by your friends and/or the admins of said sites.



To get printed copies of the business card, please send me a PM. Because I get them for literally 2 cents a piece, I'll happily give you a stack of them.

I think you're eliminating quite a few possible posters by stating you're talking about Crown Heights when we all know that PLG and other areas are talked about. Maybe you need to encompass the other areas by changing it to, "we are talking about Crown Heights and the surrounding areas" or something along those lines. This way it will sound more inclusive.

I'm aware of such concerns, but think we should grow our membership in CH first.

I'd really like us to get more members between Nostrand and Utica.
