Show of Photographs of PLG by Night

On Monday evening we hung a beautiful show of Anton Gold's night photographs of PLG at Tugboat (Part of PLG Arts' continuing Tugboat Local Artist Series). The opening reception will be this aSaturday (1/10) from 6–9 PM. Here is Anton's Artist's Statement:

"I have been living, loving and photographing PLG for over 11 years and I still get the same buzz

as I did in 2003 when I go out on my night shoots around the neighborhood. The heart of my technique is trying to see PLG for the first time every day I shoot here. Inhabitants of PLG are so fortunate to live in such a vibrant and fun-loving environment. If a photograph is a production of light, then on face value I can capture an image in PLG, on any given day as beautiful as anywhere on earth."
