I am told the police tape stems from shots fired Saturday morning, around 4 AM.       No word on whether anyone was hit.

2nd shooting on that block this month. Apparently that police lift thingy isn't of much concern to our neighbors who like to shoot guns at people.

There were three or four shots about 4:15 this morning. Then a large group huddled In front of the no longer tatoo parlor. Took awhile for cops to come even with Star Wars on Lincoln. I think someone was hit. A garbage truck stopped and blocked my view but an ambulance was coming down Franklin. 95 South crowd my guess. When oh when will this place turn into an organic grocery?

So sick of this place.  What will it take to have it shut down?  Or at the very least restricted to being a restaurant only.  I've lived here since 2008 and it just continues to get worse.

Very glad to hear it, but this place still needs to be shut down. They regularly blast music at full volume (no soundproofing here!) and patrons can be heard shouting at each other on the sidewalk into the early morning hours. And, as has been mentioned on this board before, this is far from the first time someone has been shot here.

Jamie Walker (95 South building owner) is a good guy and long-time resident of the neighborhood. And during the day/evening 95 South is not a bad sports bar. But the DJ nights - while most attending are peaceful - unfortunately occasionally draw a few losers like this. Take out the DJs and turn the music down, and the problems would go away.

They would likely have to increase their daytime restaurant business to compensate for the revenue lost by not catering to the early morning crowd.

That would require serious investment.
