Prospect Lefferts Gardens 45th Annual House & Garden Tour
Prospect Lefferts Gardens 45th Annual House & Garden Tour
Dear Neighbor:
The Prospect Lefferts Gardens community recently suffered a great loss with the sudden death of Carole Schaffer, our beloved neighbor and friend. Carole was, for over 30 years, the driving force behind our Annual House & Garden Tour.
To honor Carole's legacy, we are dedicating the PROSPECT LEFFERTS GARDENS 45TH ANNUAL HOUSE & GARDEN TOUR to her memory. The Tour will take place on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 12 noon to 5:00pm.
The Prospect Lefferts Gardens Tour brings our community together. Tour Day gives locals and visitors a chance to explore PLG, to see the insides of homes we've admired from the outside. We meet artists and crafts persons, and discover ideas that we can use in our own homes. Tour day is great for our neighborhood businesses: our restaurants, bars and shops are discovered by new patrons and rediscovered by neighborhood residents. Not forgetting the many stoop sales and lemonade stands that pop up on Tour Day . . . all part of what has been dubbed 'the friendliest house tour in Brooklyn.'
Once again there will be houses, apartments, and gardens on view. As in the past, we will also need volunteers as Tour guides - we'll send out more information on that closer to the Tour date. Meanwhile, we want everyone to know that the House Tour will be continuing. Save that date: May 31!

I there a fee? Is this tour as big as some of the others: Bed Stuy, CH North? -
Yes, $25 on tour day, $20 in advance–similar to other tours. Also yes, it's as big as the tours you mentioned.
Howdy, Stranger!
