Knee pain is more ubiquitous than we think. Not only does it affect all ages and it is common even among those who are otherwise healthy and physically active, but it also affects one’s most basic and functional movements such as walking and seating. Whatever your condition, it is important to empower yourself with the right knowledge to ensure that your knees remain healthy and learn how to prevent further injuries.
In this workshop, which originates from Oliana's own knee injury, you will learn about the knee architecture and anatomy to help you better understand your own condition and locate the source of your pain or discomfort. You will then gain further knowledge on daily self-care practices with the use of Yoga Tune Up® therapy balls by deeply massaging and awakening surrounding muscles and connective tissues, before venturing into specifically designed corrective exercises aiming at strengthening your muscles in order to provide optimal support for your knees.
