fire on st marks
tonite there was a fire on st. marks between classon & franklin
whatever the cause of this particular incident
there is another problem, along with fire arms & street crime that our community faces
and that is arson
i don't believe that it is possible to address any of these issues separately
safety is what we are talking about
and everyone's safety impacts the community as a whole
without jumping to any conclusions about tonite,
i just want to acknowledge the importance of addressing all of these issues together
under an umbrella of neighborhood safety

Subject: vacant
I agree with you. I believe, though, that this was in the vacant new building. Is it too far fetched to hope it was some sort of construction mishap?
They did send a hell of a lot of firetrucks, though. -
the smoke i saw was coming from the buildings to the east of the new building
when i asked a street cop about it...
he basically said landlord/tenant/section 8
again that's not proof but the m.o. for this sort of thing is a roof fire
(and this was top floor smoke)
that way the tenants get smoke and water damage
but the building isn't destroyed
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..................
i find this as offensive, scary & destructive as the guns
Howdy, Stranger!
