Hooti Couture left town

I have been going to Hooti Couture for many years since I moved to Brooklyn about 7 years ago and was surprised that the store closed up, I saw her in March and we had a lengthy convo and no mention that she would be closing her business.  I heard rumors she moved to Florida, anyone know what her next step is? Is she opening a new shop in Florida. She was also engaged the last we spoke so is she getting married? Its a sad day on Flatbush when someone as popular as this shop has to close, wonder if the rent went up. I think her landlord is the same guy that owns the Century 21 across the street and the Indian restaurant space.  She had very good prices and she was easy to bargain with. I hope something exciting comes in, the neighborhood could use a new restaurant in this area, but please, not a Mexican restaurant or a nail salon.

According to her facebook page she was moving to Florida. I was bummed to see another vintage shop close. That other vintage store over on 6th ave and St Mark's is never open yet all the clothes are in there.

Well there is also Beacons Closet which is pretty organized and clean and prices are pretty good. I know she has family in the redlands so maybe she going to live with one of her sisters. Too bad. Wasnt always the best but ocassionaly you could find a good deal.
