Painting Stolen On Bergen Street off Vanderbilt Avenue

STOLEN!!!

Ron Nesbitt is a well-known fine artist whose favorite medium is glass. Based in Prospect Heights, Ron had one of his latest works stolen today.

He was across the street getting his easel, and when he turned around, the painting, right in front of his door, was gone.

Ron saw who took this painting, which was on the verge of being completed so he could deliver it to his client who commissioned the work.

You know, it's amazing. Since this neighborhood as begun to acquire million-dollar condos, and bars on every corner, we now have sofas, mattresses, and TV boxes dumped on the sidewalk next to my office. Makes you wonder.

Digression aside, come out and support Ron. He is a dang good artist, and you'll usually find him painting on Bergen Street, just off Vanderbilt Avenue, on the side of The Saloon.
