Hello, Kevin Walsh of Forgotten NY here. I have two upcoming tours in Park Slope:

ForgottenTour #96: Park Slope, Brooklyn†, Sunday, August 9th, 10AM. Meet on the entrance on the west side of 4th Avenue between 9th and 10th Street at the newly renovated 4th Avenue IND train station (F, R trains)

We’ll take a walk up 9th Street to Prospect Park, taking in some luminous architecture including a Second Empire music school and a Revolutionary War burial site. Beat the heat with a 2-hour tour that starts at 10AM.

ForgottenTour #97: Grand Army Plaza, Brooklyn†, Sunday, August 23rd, 10AM. Meet at Prospect Park West and Union Street, park side (2, 3 trains)

A walk round Grand Army Plaza to see the little-known personalities depicted on its statuary, and a look at attractions in Prospect Park and also a look at a century-old second Statue of Liberty. Beat the heat with a 2-hour tour that starts at 10AM.

All tours $20 with $15 for members of my affiliate organization, Greater Astoria Historical Society.
