Did I hear correctly? Was there gunfire around 5:42pm today, perhaps around Franklin Ave & St Johns?

Not sure if I heard correctly (as it was a bit in the distance from me) and I was fully focused on work and on a conference call at the time, but does anyone know....Was that gunfire I heard at 542pm near (perhaps) the vicinity of Franklin Ave & St Johns or Sterling?  That is my best guestimate in terms of the location of where the sound was coming from...Just curious if there was anything on the scanners, etc. Thanks all.

I don't see anything on the scanner sites, so I am optimistic that no one was hit or, you heard fireworks.

Hopefully you're right. I only wondered because within minutes after hearing whatever I heard, a huge number of emergency vehicles with sirens blaring started heading in that direction and that continued for approx 20 mins. Hopefully all just a non-violent coincidence.
