Yet another house on Linden seems fated for demolition and redevelopment. 

Although there is no record of a recent sale (yet), permits were filed for a 7 story building with 18 units. This would replace the semi-detached brick house at that address. 

Zoning allows for a FAR of 4. I wonder if the developer tried to buy more of these houses ( I think there are 5 in a row).

I suspect the other houses have been approached with offers and might hold out until they are ready to move.

When they hit the market, a developer is likely to be able and willing to outbid buyers who will use them merely as residences.

This block is going to be bumping. 3 projects in the works. 1 more around the corner on Bedford. 3 more on the next block of Linden (1 close to done).

That's a lot of money for 18 units.

The zillow listing for $4.3 million was an error. The actual price was $1.24 million. Much more in line with recent sales in the area for building sites.

It's gone. Came down surprisingly clean for an attached house.
