Lost small chihuahua/pug dog

MISSING: Our pug-chichuahua mix, Duckie, went missing Wednesday 11/18 in Brooklyn, NY near Prospect Park by Ocean Ave and Parkside Ave. He doesn't bite. He's very sweet but also very scared of strangers so he may try to run away or hide if he's not approached in a calm manner. He's 9lbs with brown and white spots and a slight underbite that has a gap tooth in the center of his bottom teeth. Please call 917.697.4112 or 716.417.8165with info. He escaped from our dog walker and fled our apartment around 5 pm today and witnesses said he headed towards the south east entrance of prospect park

Mischa - please check with the nycacc in Brooklyn *every day* (seriously) AND your local Craig's List "lost and found" section (put "found dog" in search field) AND register with one of the lost pet sites you'll see advertised on the CL lost and found page, such as lostmydoggie.com.

Mischa - In addition to following the advice above, also provide a lost poster w photo to the local police precinct(s) and perhaps the prospect park alliance. Also, if not done so already, please put up posters around and in the park, especially where little Duckie was last seen.  Offering a reward & noting this in large red letters on the posters often (regrettably) provides incentive for a finder to want to return your pup to you promptly. Also, be sure that the chip company has your updated contact information, and please advise all here and on Facebook whether or not Duckie was wearing ID tags. Sending prayers that little Duckie will be home soon.

UPDATE NOV 21: DUCKIE ISSTILL LOST IN PROSPECT PARK

2AM - Seen running around CASHMERE OF VALE and NELLIE'S LAWN in the Long Meadow area of Prospect Park.

The official went after him, so Duckie ran out on to Flatbush Ave and
Eastern Pkwy near the Brooklyn Library, then ran back into the park in
those same areas listed above.

Duckie hasn't eaten since 11/18, so he is starving and will most likely
come out in desperate search of food again soon. If you are out near the
park between 1AM - 4AM, please keep your eyes peeled for Duckie.

IF YOU SEE HIM, DO NOT CHASE - HE WILL RUN. STAY QUIET, KEEP YOUR EYES ON HIM AND CALL 917-697-4112 WITH LOCATION.

Call received previous to this update with a sighting where he was lost
by OCEAN AVE AND FLATBUSH AVE - EXPERTS SAY HE WILL KEEP CIRCLING BACK
CLOSE TO THIS LOCATION IN SEARCH OF FOOD AS WELL.
