There was a representative of a local church shouting on the subway the other day about this.  Good to raise awareness, but he was quoting some questionable statistics about use and how it is targeted at small children (?) and how it's the new crack. 

Does anyone have a good source of actual data around K2 usage in the city?

I am not sure good data is available yet, but believe that it is (so far) mostly a drug that is being consumed by persons with an existing history of mental illness and/or substance abuse.

...people who frequently are homeless and/or incarcerated.
