Volunteer: Inspire Kids to Love Reading
Help students in high-need public schools become readers for life. Behind the Book
is a non-profit organization that brings accomplished authors into
K-12 classrooms to guide students in creating their own writing and art
projects. Our innovative programs have a successful record of building literacy skills and motivating students to read.
No experience or training is necessary to volunteer. You'll coach and encourage students as they write, do research and create artwork for their projects, which are based on the theme of the author's book.
