M train shutdown and reroute - potentially Summer 2017

In anticipation for the L train shutdown, the M train needs repairs and large pieces of the line need to be closed for 10 months.  This looks like it will mainly affect the line between Middle Village - Metropolitan and Myrtle-Broadway, during which more M trains run on the JZ line.

It's unclear how final this is but from the press reports it reads as an announcement rather than a proposal.

I guess the plus side is M train will be more reliable, the downside being the 10 month disruption for those in Bushwick and Ridgewood.
