sunday from 12-4 Bubby's (DUMBO) is hosting its 3rd annual "Brooklyn Pie Social". it's a benefit for PS 29 & PS 150. $25 gets you entry and 5 tasting tickets (yeah, maybe $5 a slice is slightly steep, but it IS a benefit after all, and where else are are you going to find it acceptable to eat FIVE slices of pie in one day?). better yet: bake a pie, bring it, and you get a discount on the entry fee. even better: bring TWO homemade pies and your entry is seriously discounted. here are more details:
