This year Jose has played in New York at Joe's Pub, Bowery Ballroom, Webster Hall and Central Park Summerstage. This show will be his final and most intimate show in NYC this year. It's been an eventful year as has also appeared The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, The Carson Daly Show, NPR's All Things Considered and KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic.

With his crystal-clear singing voice and vibrant, classically-inspired playing, González has been hailed as one of today's most remarkable new artists - testament to the irrefutable power of one man and a guitar. "Veneer" - the Swedish tunesmith's acclaimed Mute Records debut (reissued April 4) - captures his magical sound in its purest state, simply beautiful and beautifully simple. Gonzalez’s hused, captivating voice – part Joao Gilberto, part Nick Drake – accompanies his dexterously finger-picked classical guitar.
