BROOKLYN Electronics Recycling & Clothing Donation Event
Saturday, September 30, 2006
8am - 2pm
Prospect Park at Bartel Pritchard Square
(plaza at Prospect Park West and Prospect Park SW, across from traffic circle. near 15th St)

Donate Clothing and Linens
Drop off your gently used clothing and linens for donation:
Clothing: pants, dresses, shirts, sweaters, shoes, handbags, belts
Linens: blankets, towels, sheets, curtains, tablecloths
Only donate clean, gently used clothing and linens. Place donated items in clear plastic bags and tie securely to avoid moisture contamination. Tax-deduction receipts will be available upon request from Goodwill.
Drop off your unwanted electronics for recycling. Only the following items will be accepted:
computers & laptops
monitors & printers
scanners, keyboards & mice
TVs
cell phones
They won't accept other kinds of electronics.
NYC residents (no businesses allowed*) may drop off material (limit five pieces per person).
No scavenging, no tax deductions. :shock:

WOW this is exactly the kind of thing I want the city to be doing...making it super easy to donate and recycle. We couldn't believe how well run this event was. . .
