I wonder if Trump's claims of bipartisan support for the commutation are true or, like so much of what he says, something that just popped into his head before he opened his mouth? In any case, the original sentence DOE'S seem rather harsh, on the face of it.

At this point, I believe that I have no way of seeing if anything has bipartisan support. ...all of my media sources and social circles have proven to be bubbles.
