Two houses on Bedford between Hawthorne and Fenimore, sold to a developer who plans a 7 story, 44 unit building. 1935 Bedford, a very long 188 ft lot, sold for $2.6m. 1931 Bedford sold for $600k, although based on the ACRIS history of the property I wouldn't be surprised if there was more debt or more money involved. There is already a building planned for the corner of Fenimore and Bedford, (disputed by the block association), replacing a house that was used as a doctors office , and a building underway across the street that also replaced a bunch of houses. The historic district starts on the north side of Fenimore so these lots are not protected.
