Machinehead cover heard in Mango — Brooklynian

Machinehead cover heard in Mango

I was eating at Mango yesterday and heard a cover of Bush's Machinehead. It sounded like it had been translated into German or some sort of Germanic language but I was able to indentify the song by the melody and the fact that "machinehead" was said in english. The song was much slower than the original and electronic in sound. Does anybody have any idea who this is by? It was hilarious and I just have to hear it again.

omg! no, I don't know this cover. BUT, this is as awesome as the time I was in Beast (Vandy & Bergen) and realized they were playing "stigmata" by ministry. genius! I love subversive, fantastic music in restaurants.
  • That sounds potentially almost as awesome as Laibach's cover of the Beatles album Let It Be, or the Fatima Mansions cover of Shiny Happy People or Revco's cover of Do You Think I'm Sexy?

or .. Coil's cover of Tainted Love a.k.a. best cover ever?
  • oh, i have a cover fetish. i'm pretty partial to aimee mann/michael penn's "two of us"... lizz wright's cover of "old man", and ollabelle's cover of the stone's "i am waiting"
