3 Booking Agents - The Ultimate Roadwork Seminar
Buddy Flip's "Best Stand-Up Workshop Ever"presents
The Ultimate
Roadwork Seminar
Sunday August 28, 2 - 5 p.m.
@ The New York Comedy Club
241 East 24 St. NY NY
Ever wonder what it takes to work 'on the road?'
What do booking agents look for?
What position on the show am I right for?
How much do road comics get paid?
How do I get paying road work????
Buddy Flip brings together THREE top Booking Agents who have a
combination of over 50 years of experience booking & running comedy shows in the Tri-State area. Every comic who is a big star now, when they were starting out, worked for these guys on the road.
STEVE BIX: COMEDY BLAST PRODUCTIONS,
http://www.comedyblast.com/
Steve has work for comics all year round. One the largest SU Comedy show bookers on the East Coast, he has One Nighters, Multi-One
Nighters, Firehouse Gigs, Private Events & more. I have worked for Steve
Bix for over 10 years. I started as an Emcee for him in 1994 and moved up through Featuring and into Headlining. He uses hundreds of comics per year. Steve's work includes NJ, PA & MD
RICK MORGAN: a Long Island based booker who books multiple
'Firehouse' gigs throughout Long Island ALL YEAR LONG. If you don't
know; a Fire Company usually holds one or two special fund raisers a year. Rick books the comedy for these shows. They are usually great shows with big, responsive crowds. These gigs are almost always great. In the last year I have worked for Rick about a dozen times.
RICH CARUCCI: a New Jersey/New York/Pa booker who books multiple
'Firehouse' gigs, Private Events & One-Niters throughout the year. Rich has been booking roadwork for a few years and is a touring comic as well so he brings a comic's point-of-view to the seminar.
Bring your head shots & resumes.
Ask any and all questions you want.
