BACKGROUND: I started this site.
CURRENT SITUATION: I don't get out much anymore. Like, at all. I have my reasons.
EXCEPTION: This Friday night (tomorrow, Oct. 20) we'll be doing dinner (7:30ish) and then drinks somewhere in the PS/PH vicinity.

DINNER: If you are interested, PM me so we can get a head count.

DRINKS: After dinner, we'll head to the bar at FLATBUSH FARM (76 St. Marks Ave. near Flatbush), around 830ish.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Q. Help me, I have social phobia. What do you guys look like?? Never mind that. Just look for the Brooklynian.com table tents/signs. (Maybe a sign on the door if they are cool with that.)

I would love to go, but I have to go peddle my wares at the Brewtopia beer festival.

I mean, it's work, but not really... I'll be talking about beer and drinking beer, with fellow beer dorks, at one of the world's biggest craft beer festivals.

I'll definitely try to make it for drinks. I tried organizing a little drink session last week and only a few folks showed up. Furthermore, it was a bit awkward holding direct eye contact with every individual who entered the bar, looking for that recognition of "you must be from dailyheights.com!!". A sign or flag sounds like a brilliant facilitator.

thanks to everyone who showed last night. I was able to get a lot of personal shit off my chest to the folks who wouldn't be afraid (the M's, thanks be to god for them), I was able to remember I actually know ppl in nyc for izisharp (PM me!!), and I was got to reconnect with the site admin and argue with him, which seemed comfortable and happy. and he bought me a pineapple and soda which was rockin'.
