Yes, yes we do. My boss is done with his US tour, so there's nothing to do till he leaves for Europe on Nov 1st. Just paying bills and opening mail. Yawn.

I write back-of-the-book indexes. Publishers send me book pages, I read the book and create the index. -

Exactly why I'm here so much. Well, I'm not a graphic designer, but I am at my computer all day working... gotta kill some time and reset the brain every now and again!
I am a full-time graphic designer, yet things are sort of slow at the moment. Browsing on brooklynian sure helps to pass the time

Student who has already secured a job post-graduation.
Lots of vacation time and very little incentive to study! -
Another student with no secured job after graduation (if you know of one, let me know), no free time either.
Writing and researching at home, a lot online, two days a week. -
i have no life, well acctually I got hooked when confined to home for health reasons and now when I work I'm in front of a computer all day with nothing else to do while a wait for big mainframe batch jobs to run

I teach and do a lot of preparation for class at home so I can play online. As someone who immigrated to the US as a youngster, there are a lot of Americanisms and other cultural nuances I never got growing up so this board is great for still adding to my knowledge of popular culture, cultural literacy, and all that stuff. I think the people here are sharp too. Mostly, this forum keeps me chuckling so I come back for more!

Magazine graphic designer.
Either I'm on deadline and busy 24/7.
Or I'm not, and thus on message boards 24/7
