new mexican place on vandy

so. i went there yesterday. has anyone else been? the food was so bad, that my friends and i couldn't justify paying for food that we couldn't eat. we had a bottle of wine that they opened for us, and before we knew it, an hour had passed by and the wine was gone. there were about 2 other tables of 4, none of which had food. finally ours comes out, and it was COLD. not even luke warm, but totally room temp cold. it was horrible so dissapppointing. the waitress was embarassed, stating that the owner was in the kitchen because the cook wasnt there....

anywhoo, i was so excited to be able to have a mexican place around the corner, but wanted to cry after leaving.

maybe its a case of giving it another month or 5 to run its course and get its shit together... but just wondering if anyone else had this experience.
