Soda can probably show them in the back room - not sure if they plan to.

Maybe Tavern on Dean or Mooney's?

after election returns via diebold voting machines, this whole country is gonna need a drink.

I can't say I've ever gone to a bar to watch election returns before.. but it sounds like a great alternative to a sports match. And since the Yankees and Mets aren't playing you know they won't change the channel.

If you hit up one of those bars to root on your party, please post when/where. I'd like to come have a drink with some fellow political junkies from the neighborhood if I may.

A word of caution, find a bar that has cable NOT satellite. Before 11pm when the news comes on, you'll get the best local results on either News 1 or News 12. Neither of those are available on satellite, so you either end up watching national results on CNN, MSNBC, etc., or you are looking at the results streaming across the bottom of CSI:NY.

The national results ARE the important results. Ny's a democratic shoo-in. I wanna see Ohio, PA and Indiana get stripped of their Bush/Rove machine power
