Frisbee in the Park

Ultimate! The only place I could find for ultimate in Prospect Park was an organized league that cost $$. Do you know of any pick up games in Prospect Park? I'd love to go play but can't predict my schedule.

don't join the league; i endedc up on the only team that reliably showed up so every week it was Team Grand Army vs everyone else. I joined b/c I just really like team sports, and enjoy ultimate much more than say softball or volleyball. The ultimate league i played in in grad school was fantastic.

Only info I have on the pickup (which I've never actually dragged my lazy ass to - the other reason I like team sports, it means I'll actually go) is that they play weekends, midday into late afternoon, near the 9th street ballfields.

Good luck and maybe you'll actually see me out there when it cools down some.
