i hope that everyone is having a wonderful day. eat everything, and don't feel bad about grabbing the last chunk of cranberry sauce, because you have every right to it.

    technically i didn't even go. my mom and dad brought me back tons of food from my great uncles. i was too lazy to go.

  • I'm so proud of myself. I cooked, for one other person, a breakfast of an omelette and toast, a 12 lb turkey, stuffing with shallots, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce (from these gigantic cranberries) and brussel sprouts and asparagus. and now I'm full.

    I think I'm going to make mashed potato and stuffing croquettes tomorrow.

    I wasn't working on TDay for the first time in years, and my Thanksgiving was actually great. But turkey can only be so good, if you know what I mean. Now snow crabs... I have to convince my family to do that next year! :D
