Graffiti on St. Johns Place between Underhill and Washington

Has anyone else noticed the red spraypainted sidewalks on St. Johns Place? The graffiti makes reference to The Crips. It sucks the The Crips had to spray paint the sidewalks. They really know how to make a lasting impression. I suspect it will stay there for years. Awful!

  • There's also some on Underhill on a strech of sidewalk in front of the Jewish community center.
  • I would notify the DOT through 311. I just checked out the DOT site but they only list 311 and no other phone numbers. I understand the purpose of 311 but if I know that I want to call DOT why can't I call them direct?
  • Wait, there is a Jewish Community Center in the neighborhood? Where?
  • Same block as Sepia and Cheryl's, closer to St Johns.
  • wtf does that say??

I am a redneck.I am a hillbilly. or anything else you wanna call me. And you mother fuckers need to speak English. because this is America. Not Africa, not London, not any other country.
lol. that was quite a thread, rhodamine. I still have no idea what the graf says, but now I'm a little concerned about the lunatic at the other end of the ethernet cable/wireless signal.
  • thanks to that one thread getting spidered by google, i now have to filter out tons of comments by internet-banging crips/bloods that seem to surf the web simply to start/continue gang-related beef. even after i close the post to comments, they just spread to other off-topic posts and continue. its a huge pain... and i wish that post had never been posted on citynoise!

in other news, our login system here should prevent that
  • I cannot seem to get through to your site - I get this error message. I have it listed as one of my bookmarks but it still comes up with the following:

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Too many connections in /sky/www/citynoise.org/html/db.inc.php on line 3
    reload: see if that helps
  • looks like my host is having a problem. it will come back soonish...
  • I noticed it on Underhill too, by Cheryl's. There was a lot of it.
