ATTN: Home Owners

For the past few months home owners on my block (Park Place between Vanderbilt and Underhill) have noticed an increase in rat sightings in their back yards. This increase has happened since the development boom in the Prospect Heights area, and a couple of extension programs (which require evacuation of ground) going on and around our block. We have decided to go with "tamper proof" rat boxes. They hold poison and cannot be entered into by cats and dogs. They will be placed in our back yards.

I suggest that any home owner who lives between Pacific St and Eastern Parkway, Flatbush and Washington also take measures to nip/control this rodent problem in the bud. I understand that an outfit called Acme Exterminating of Manhattan will give discounts if several buildings chip in as a whole. From what I understand they do great follow up.
