Crown Heights Holiday Lighting Contest

This year we've increased the prizes to astonishing levels! As follows:
1st place - $150
2nd place - $ 75
3rd place - Really nice bottle of champagne
The deadline for receipt of applications is early this year, December 18th. Only those who send in an application will be considered. Winners will be announced at the Crown Heights North Assn. bi-monthly meeting on Dec. 20th at St. Gregory's RC School on St. Johns Place at Brooklyn Avenue.
For the purposes of this contest, we are defining Crown Heights North as being between Bedford and Albany, EPW to Atlantic.
So dust off those holiday lights and get them up early. Hurry up, Santa is watching!

1st Place: Monica and Stephen Barrett - 935 Lincoln Place
2nd Place: Andre Springer - 1250 Dean Street
3rd Place: Harry and Michelle Nevers - 994 Sterling Place
The four categories for judging were: originality, size, design and "greeness" (ie, natural, low-impact, sustainable, etc.)
So, now it's time to plan for next year.
