  • Golly.

It seems that you are in a spot of trouble.

If your husband likes T.V., you could take whatever proceeds you get from selling the bed and buy him one of these new flat-screens I keep hearing about.
  • That's a wonderful idea, Drano :D ! Do you know of any electronics stores that barter?
  • Try Craigslist? And if your marriage is really in need of help--you can always click on the casual encounters section!! heh heh.
  • why not try selling it on the park slope parents classifieds list?
  • Thanks A LOT, Chipster! Somebody warned me off Craig's List because he said that it attracted scammers--take your bed and run types.

I never thought of the "casual encounter" section for selling a bed. In fact, I've never even looked at it. But it does sound like one of those "anything goes" type places so I might as well try  .

  • Slopearama--

I've never heard of the PSPCL but I'll google it and take you up on your suggestion.

    Thank you! :D
  • you're welcome. PSPC is a yahoo groups listserve. you have to send an e-mail asking to join.

I've bought and sold a lot of stuff on CL. You probably will get one or two scam emails, but they're very easy to spot because they will ask you to "ship" the item and then say they'll set up their own "shipping".

Just make sure to only deal locally with people who will come pick it up, and only accept cash on pick-up.

    Good Luck!
  • :D Thanks caaahyoko!
