I am a Brooklyn local independent filmmaker. I recently began offering DVD authoring business to neighborhood people of NYC. I can transfer your old home movies to DVD (see accepted formats below), I can edit your home movies or pictures and make a nice DVD gift with the image & title of your choice printed on DVD's non-media side and the case inserts.

ACCEPTED SOURCE FORMATS (WHAT YOU BRING OR MAIL):
- Mini DV, VHS, or 3/4. (DVD, only if you want me to edit onto another disc. Not a cloning service.)
- Hi 8, Digital 8 and other analog formats possible if you can bring your own camera with power cable

WHAT YOU WILL HAVE (at basic rate)
- DVDs in jewel or amaray case (the one like commercial DVDs) containing the same images with the original reel. I use Verbatim DVDs for superior image quality.
- Chapter Markers placed every 10min - Simple menu page with play button
- Simple case insert with titles - Titles you provide will be printed on disc (all-player safe)

PRICE:
Basic transfer: $30/source tape.
1 DVD can contain up to approx. 2hrs of high quality video materials.

* Bring your favorite still photo or tell me your favorite image in the video being transferred. Is this for a gift? I will dress it with your favorite image & title printed directly on your DVD’s non-media side, and also make a nice case insert with the same image.

- Request for additional discs (same content & picture) - $6/disc
- Additional disc print - $10/disc ($5 if the same image with different title)
- Full color inserts for jewel or amaray case with more information- $8 & up depending on design
- Log Sheet - description of scenes w/ timecodes as the location changes. -$10 up to 15 log lines, then $ 2/log line
- Chapter Markers at scene changes - $2/marker
- Advanced menu pages such as chapter marker index - $5/ page, custom design menus $10/page
- Color correction, Image enhancement (price negotiable)
- Assemble-edit of selected images from multiple reels into one reel ($5/cut if the timecode & reel # is provided)
- Creating family documentary or video album with nice transitions and title graphics (price negotiable)
