Are you someone who loves to cook?
Want to participate in a fun community event?

Then come to The Great Squash Cook-off!
It will be the first in a series promoting home cooking in the culturally rich borough of Brooklyn

Our challenge for this event: To prepare a vegan dish that prominently features winter squash. We are looking for creative entries, but also new takes on traditional favorites. The event is open to amateurs only - so don't hestitate to sign up!

There will be prizes, entertainment, and of course food! The grand prize winner will receive $200 cash and other prizes. Additionally, the winning dish will be featured on The V-Spot menu. All contestants will get to sample some delicious dishes, and of course meet other foodies.
