parking meters in front of met food--where did they go?

was coming home from work and about to pull my car into a spot in from of the met food. except all the meters were gone. whassup?

I was caught off guard too then I made an inquiry and was told that DOT made it a delivery zone from 9am to 6pm for Met Foods.

My guess is that they need the space for trucks/loading and can no longer double-park due to the changes in the traffic pattern on Vanderbilt.

That said, I don't have a car so hadn't noticed.
