Broken Windows Experiment

LimestoneKid, you seem to know a little something about urban sociology, so why not call 311 and report it immediately? If we start to maintain norms that dictate clean streets, storefronts, and in this case, no burned out cars, we can certainly help to improve the neighborhoods we call home. I'd definitely contact the authorities.

Excellent idea!
It's been removed. -
Subject: Another One
I'm beginning to think that our part of the Navy Yard is becoming a dumping ground for stolen cars that have been stripped of all their useful parts.
This time it was a burned out shell of a car on Waverly btw. Park & Flushing. No engine, front two tires gone and the inside seats burned out.
The good fols at 311 transferred me to the Department of Sanitation and they came by to put a orange sticker on the car. I'm willing to bet that it's a bit more then just a coincidence. This is the second instance that I've seen in the last two months.
Howdy, Stranger!
