Subject: Where/How to Donate Children's Videos?

Hey all. This isn't really Park Slope specific, but I wasn't sure which forum to post this under and figured my home turf was as good as any...

I've been slowly and methodically cleaning out my basement. Haven't touched the place for the most part since we moved in to the house 7+ years ago, and it's become a catch-all for pretty much anything. Storage space has become a premium down there, to a ridiculous level, so I vowed to make the basement my winter project.

I discovered a decent number of VHS tapes in a bin, mostly Disney titles. Now normally, I just leave stuff in front of my house for people to take as they please. But in this case, I was thinking that perhaps there would be a place or two in Brooklyn that may want the videos, i.e., a children's ward at a hospital. Doesn't have to be a hospital, just has to be a place that helps kids. I don't have the slightest clue whether that's a good idea or even how to find out. There are so many people on this board with diverse backgrounds, I'm thinking maybe there's someone out there who has a good suggestion who can point me in the right direction.
