cab to red hook-tomorrow

i need to take a cab to red hook tomorrow morning, cause its to damn cold to take the bus.

does anyone the number of a cab company around nostrand and st. johns that will take me, and about how much it will cost me.

do not use catch ah ride. I had tried on several occasions to use them in the past, and found that there was never a car available, the drivers would lie about how far away they were from picking you up, they did not know where they were going, and would not listen to directions provided by a female. they are more hassle than going out and flagging down a passing lincoln.

you're better off just flagging one down on the corner of nostrand.

thanks, i got there ok. i did use catch ah ride (cause i didnt see your post) and he sort of knew where we were going but didnt have a map to confirm ( ridiculous) but i got there on time anyway

hey, if they got you there in a timely manner with minimal aggravation, that's all that matters. maybe they are improving their service?

T-Fal - I believe you but am surprised you've had so much trouble with Catch Ah Ride. I have used them a few times to go to JFK. Not only did they show up in up to 5 minutes as promised, but they got me to the airport fairly quickly. I even used them to get my mother to the airport and she had no problems.

But to be fair, I have not used them to go anywhere else. So perhaps they are simply well versed in travel to JFK only.
