In a pre-sentencing statement, Mr. Dial said he escaped in fear of his life after being put in prison with an African-American gay man he thought might have AIDS and after a leader of a white supremacist group “informed me I would be decapitated for dealing with a n-word person.”

“I’ll tell you what I did. I left town in 24 hours,” Mr. Dial testified.

THAT ladies and gentlemans, is how you play the race card.
