Jordan Malachi Cleaners — Brooklynian

Jordan Malachi Cleaners

OK. So I'm a little concerned. I dropped my wedding dress off at Jordan Malachi Cleaners on the corner of 5th Ave and 1st St. to be cleaned and put in a box for preservation. The guy i spoke with assured me they could do it but that it would take a couple of months. I went back to pick it up Saturday and the guy I spoke to (not the same guy i dropped it off with) COULDN'T FIND IT. He told me to talk to his boss, Oscar, who would be in at 4. I came back at 4 and was told by the same guy that Oscar had come and gone, something unintelligible about "a company in New Jersey" and that it wasn't ready (after 3 months?!) and he didn't know when it would be. And that he didn't know when Oscar would be back. WTF!!! So I left my number for Oscar to call (of course he didn't) and I just tried to call and the number on my ticket has been disconnected! I don't even know what to do.

Has anyone had a similar experience with them or have any advice? Also, did they change owners or something? It seems like a different operation than when I dropped it off -- then, i spoke to a guy who seemed like he knew what was going on (the owner?) but now this elusive Oscar character seems to be the only person who can help me.
