does anyone have an AWESOME, spicy recipe? please bear in mind that I'm stupid with proportions. help!

Bloody Mariachi
(Tequila Bloody Mary)
Adapted from ''The Tailgater's Cookbook,'' by David Joachim

24 ounces tomato juice
9 ounces tequila
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 to 2 teaspoons adobo sauce (from canned chipotle chilies)
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon celery salt
Celery sticks, lemon wedges and pickled okra for garnish.

In a chilled pitcher or a large, chilled thermos, mix all ingredients except for garnishes. Shake or stir. Garnish with celery, lemon and/or okra. Definately okra, the spicy pickled one with an outline of the state of Texas on the jar lid. Serve over ice.

Yield: 6 cocktails.

I like to use regular or spicy V8, booze, celery salt, horseradish, tobasco, pickled garlic, a green olive and just a touch of pepper. Sometimes I add a wedge of lime to give it some tang.

Damn, but now I want to do it pitu's way. That sounds tasty!

another favorite bloody tomato drink is the Bloody Caesar at Prune
Gin, clam juice, and a pickled egg (along with some other stuff...)

The Perfect Bloody Mary
(Gabrielle Hamilton of Prune, NYC, NY adjustments by some guy on the internet)

2 cups tomato juice
juice of 1 lemon
1/4 tsp + 2 shakes Tabasco
2 1/2 tsp Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Gold's prepared horseradish
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp fresh ground black pepper
6 to 8 ounces vodka

Mx all ingredients in pitcher, serve over ice and garnish with celery. Makes three
