Monk Thrift Vintage Store

Has anyone been in the Monk Thrift store yet? It replaced that Magikal Eye store on 5th Avenue next to Buttermilk.

I looked in the window after it was closed and it looked pretty cool.

I guess the South Slope is "happening" now!

Yeah, I saw that it had replaced the Magikal Eye store yesterday. I walk by it everyday and yesterday was the first time I noticed. I went in and looked around. They have some cool stuff and I saw the prices weren't out of this world. I saw a shirt for 6 bucks and I saw jackets ranging from $20 to $60 and some shoes for $30. So, i guess average prices for the most part. The lady behind the counter looked like an old Polish lady and Belle & Sebastian was sounding through the speakers. It's worth a browse at least. I'll probably go back
