Where should I have dinner tonight?

Soda for Bar food....
-
oh, so many options! tavern on dean is my fave - corner of underhill and dean.
-
Depends on what you want to spend. Tavern on Dean is great for a neighborhood comfort food meal. If you want to spend in the $30 range, you could do Sorrel or Garden Cafe (which has a Prix Fixe for $30 or $35, but you probably should call ahead if you're planning for there). Bob Law's if you're up for some fried seafood. And of course, I can't let an open-ended food recommendation question lie without bringing up Grand Castillo de Jagua for neighborhood greasy Latin lunch counter food.
-
Although I have never tried it yet - there is also the soul food place on Underhill (ugh the name escapes me right now) or Amorina (on Vanderbilt) for a quick pizza - but its cash only there.
-
I was going to suggest Amorina for a quick, cheap dinner. Soda is a fun place to hang out, but I wouldn't recommend it in this case... you can find something tastier and faster.
-
cheryl's is quite close to gap and has very good food, if a bit pricey for this zip.
236 underhill, just off eastern parkway. -
while quite late, and I'm sure you've already had dins, aliseo is also quite nice. vandy and park.

Where is Cheryl's and Sorrel's?
I still have not found Cheryl's even though ya'll keep telling me where it is. Damn.
I also have yet to try Tavern on Dean or Le Gamin. Any descriptions of the atmosphere and fare? -

sorrel is at st. marks and carlton. -
Thanks all! We ended up at Soda and it was very tasty if a tiny bit loud for dinner. Hopefully I'll be moving to the neighborhood soon and can try the rest of these!

I would've said Flatbush Farm, even though its on the *cough* wrong side of PH. Delicious.
Howdy, Stranger!
