Guitar Lessons

I offer guitar lessons for all ages and levels. I have both an MM in Jazz Guitar performance, and a BM in Classical Guitar performance. I have many years of private teaching experience (10), and have taught at colleges and universities in WI and NY (NYU). My lessons focus on the music and/or techniques that the student is most interested in to develop a deeper understanding of music.

No matter what the student's level is I incorporate music theory, ear-training, improvisation, composition, and note-reading into my lessons. I can teach a wide range of musical styles, and have a thorough understanding of classical and jazz music. When not teaching I maintain a schedule of performances around NYC and the occasional national and international tour. If you or your child are interested, please reply with any questions. 1 hour at my house: $45
