948 Nostrand @ Montgomery in South Crown Heights = Domino's Pizza — Brooklynian

948 Nostrand @ Montgomery in South Crown Heights = Domino's Pizza

Look like this is rapidly converting into a Domino's Pizza... It was a Pharmacy.

Propertyshark seems to show it was a spanish restaurant at some point.

Perhaps before or after it was a pharmacy.

  • this isn't a picture of the the place becoming a Domino's - the place is directly on the corner which would be to the left in this pic.

got it. The address given was a little off.

So, we are talking about 954 Nostrand, which was formerly a pharmacy.

I think we should leave this thread titled as 948 Nostrand.

Anyone who eats Dominos in NYC is slightly off, so our slightly off address will serve them well.
  • hahaha - yes this hit my building's facebook page last week as a pizza place opening up - when I let everyone know it was to be a Domino's everyone's hopes were dashed (this is on our corner).  people were thinking barboncino!
  • Make sure to periodically spam that Facebook page with Brooklynian ads.

That way people can credit or blame us for all neighborhood changes that take place (as well as those that don't).
  • will do :-)

I walked by the soon-to-be Dominos location tonight (954 Nostrand), and can report that they appear close to opening.

Most of the equipment (ovens, racks, etc) appears to be in place.    It still needs pizza boxes and perishable items.   I presume they won't even mix their dough on site.

  • A Dominos...how quaint. It'll fit in the neighborhood along with that Pizza Hut on Empire Boulevard. (/sarcasm)
  • I believe this flier indicates it is about to open.

Or, perhaps it has already opened and the world as we knew it has already ended.
  • I would like to have seen a more traditional brick oven pizzeria opened in that space.

Will go back to ordering from Pizza Hut an Papa Johns. Highly NOT RECOMMENDED.

Once again today 11/15/15. I order my food at 2:30 it said out for delivery at 3:16. I waited for "Nesly" an whole hr after that and still nothing. It now saids delivered (4:26), delivered to who? Surely not to me and my two kids. Dominos has lost my business.

First of all, they normally take around 2 hours to deliver the food... secondly, their customer service over the phone is useless... thirdly, don't be surprised if they don't deliver the food after 3 hours of waiting and checking on them! Haha.  No joke!  It happened to different members of my family under different accounts. Oh! Btw, don't expect a call from them either, explaining why we are still waiting for our pizzas after 3 hours.
The worst ever! Not once but several times!! Last night was the final straw! Papa John from now onwards. Better and faster service! !
  • I'll bet that a lot of those people complaining live closer to Eastern Parkway and we all know how tough it is to bike up the hill on Nostrand. That's probably the reason for the delay.
  • Perhaps their deliveryman should invest in an e-bike.

I believe this conversation indicates the 77th Pct caught the perpetrators.
